Updated (2017): I am very choosy about paying for software myself but I "get" tech (whatever that means) on a basic level and therefore happily paid for 1P on any device I used.
But... this subscription model is going to rub ppl the wrong way. Particularly for folks Ive recommended it to (so many people) over the years who simply will not pay a monthly charge for this class of app. Im talking about folks who reuse passwords and whatnot... young ppl and baby boomers who missed the boat, etc.
Yes, security is a small price to pay, but dude, youre "competing with free" for tons of customers who will happily use terrible competitors apps (or nothing) to avoid paying anything. I have to believe the app devs can find a better solution than a $4-$7/month fee. Yikes. That seems high.
I am going to permanently suspend my recommendations for this app because this subscription strategy has robbed me of my certainty in its future.
No thanks devs.
Original Review (2015): This is a must have app. I don’t know what people without password managers do...
I most like having the choice to use my PIN/Touch ID again, instead of entering the master password, every time I open 1P on my iDevices.
Thanks devs!
