While I will agree that this app has some great features, & they would be a lot greater if AgileBits will give you all the relevant information at the outset. Unfortunately, however, you dont get all the information and recovery aids to avoid losing your password unless you buy this App directly from AgileBits website and subscribe to their annual service plan. I will note that I purchased this App about a year ago & paid for all the extra upgrades that were available in the App Store, so maybe they are doing a better job with the App Store buyers now, but I certainly dont see it. Over the last year, I have added over 300 passwords for iPhone, iPad, computer and other non-computer resources - the App does a very good job of storing & managing your passwords until until you have a problem; at that point, if you did not buy their annual subscription with the related support aids, then you are DOA. In my case I was using 1Password on an iPad & an iPhone - and the two devices mirrored each other perfectly. I also had both devices set up with fingerprint access so that I would not have to go through the process of entering multiple codes to access my passwords every time I wanted to log into a password protected website or get access to other important information I stored in 1Password. At some point, however, I noticed that I did not recognize the Master Passcode in the iPad App it had apparently gotten changed or altered at some point without any internal record of the change or my recording it. Moreover, since the iPad was syncing with the iPhone, it changed the Master Passcode on both devices and the only way I could access either device was using the fingerprint (actually since the devices were syncing with each other the Master Passcode could have been changed on either device & it auto synced to the other device). Fortunately, the fingerprint access still worked on both devices so I figured I would work with AgileBits support staff to figure out the best way to either fix the Master Password or migrate my information to another solution . I contacted the AgileBits support staff, who chided me for posting a question in their forum as well as writing an email, & then advised that I needed to set up a trial 1Password account and transfer my data into it - While this would not reset the master password for me, the support rep said I would still be able to access my info on any device using the finger print access since it was still working. So I followed the Reps instructions to set up a on-line trial database and transferred my iPad database into the new on-line trial database & . . Yes, you guessed it - now the fingerprint access it gone & I am still locked out of the database without any way to access any of the information so that I am locked out of all 300+ passwords. Of course, the question now is whether I want to pony-up $36 a year to subscribe AgileBits premium on-line service & get the support that I should have had after buying all the extra purchases in the App Store??????
