Best... password... manager... EVER!

I have over 200 passwords in my vault. I simply cannot live without this app. Thank you AgileBits, 1Password rocks!!!

Doesnt sync

This app is great if you enjoy troubleshooting. Every time I use it, I end up spending way too much time trying to get it to sync properly, whether its via Dropbox OR wifi. Update: This app now syncs seamlessly and has no issues. Its my go to app for storing any and all passwords

New forced subscription licensing model is terrible

No longer

:)))))

Perfect password app!! Both for storing and creating :)

1P

Its Ok ??

One of my most used apps.

Integrates easily into what I do everyday and I use it constantly. Even beyond passwords, Im amazed how often I need information from it.

Long time paying user has become very disenchanted

Have used and paid for this app for several years but since starting the subscription version last year, Ive become very frustrated with it. Each update brings issues and does not address the existing ones. The biggest problem is that it does not sync reliably across devices. Apart from the security of my data, syncing should be a primary goal. The "support" section of their website is useless and forget about actually hearing back from their support staff if you email them. Have started looking for a replacement app. Not recommended at this time.

Nice

Best password manager.

The best password manager ever

I first bought 1Password for my Mac eight years ago and every iteration released since. Best money I have ever spent.

Indispensable tool that works very well.

I use 1Password on all my devices. Access via Touch ID makes it a snap to use, and the ability to store secure notes along with more traditional info like passwords and credit cards is incredibly useful. I do wish they would go back to requiring that the master password be manually entered after a device restart; failure to do that is the only thing I dont like about it.

THIS IS JUST A TRIAL

A little misleading. This is a free 30 day trial. $3.99 a month after that, with the option for $39.99 for a year. Do I really want to putt all my sensitive info into an app that I will not pay for ???

Best of the best

Its Great ??

Double billing.

So far this is a great app however Ive paid for a year and now theyre billing me monthly $4 and some change. this is the second month in a row and dont know who to contact to get this fixed without losing all of my passwords. I will raise the rating as soon as they fix this problem.

Life Saving App❗️

I have used this app for several years and it has saved my bacon more times than I can count. I just read about the new features and cant wait to try them out !! Keep up the great work!!

Best of the BEST on iOS & Mac!!

Well worth every penny. Its the one program I simply could not work without ????

Life Saver!

I have used 1Password for several years. It never lets me down and Im blown away how they find ways to make it even better! With so many digital passwords required in my life, I needed a tool to help me keep it organized. This is it!

A "must have" service

Strong passwords are the first line of defense to keep you protected online. Use this to make managing it easy. Its worth the cost and time. Simple and straightforward.

Solid app, had it for years.

I recommend this software. Its really secure and helps manage and automate your passwords. Must have for all of your devices that can run it as you can sync across all of them under the same account.

Excellent program handicapped

This password manager has been my go to application for some time. I have recommended this to friends and family. It works very well and support is responsive. Recently they added a subscription model. They allowed both local and remote vaults. This was fine it served all sides. But, now they have brought out an updated Windows application that does not support local vaults. They say they are still dedicated to offering local vaults, just not in Windows. So how long until an update comes out for Mac or iOS that removed this feature also? They wont comment on future releases and will restate their live for subscriptions. They say they dont need to and its not about the money. But, they have removed a feature from the Windows version so it seems they are pointing the direction that they will eventually move with their Mac and ios apps. Unfortunately this means Im biding my time until this essential feature is removed and I have to find another application. The developer points out below they they have reaffirmed support for local vaults. I have read that post and all it says is that they are not removing local vaults from Mac or iOS right now. They cant comment about future releases. Windows which had support had it pulled and due to small team size they arent sure when they may put it back. Reaffirmation would be never removing it from Windows. It would be putting it back since it was already there. It would be staying that despite our love for subscriptions we will emphatically support local vaults in future releases (period). I stand by my review and would like them to truly state that they hear their customers. Put back local vaults in Windows then blog that they will never ever remove that feature.

I dont get it

Im brand new to using a password manager, and tried 1Password first because it was highly rated and recommended. I tried the YouTube videos ( helpful, but didnt expect to have to get a degree in how to use the app). I entered in my data. I downloaded and activated web browser extensions. I actually liked the way it worked on the web. However... (1) Its completely useless for certain websites (medical, banking), that seem to have disabled the extension, and for which I would have enjoyed the stronger password option. (2) its nearly useless on my phone. Most apps dont allow me to use a password manager. And, if I was foolish enough to have used 1Password to help me make a really strong password I could only use it on the web if the extension was working. … Unless I wanted to cut and paste. Which I do not. So Im going to end the review by saying that after 30 days, this newbie just doesnt get it. For as much use as Ive been able to get out of it, I cannot see the value of a yearly subscription type plan. I will hope to find a cheaper alternative.
