1Password - Password Manager and Secure Wallet App Reviews

1 Password is a phenomenal app. I use it to manage my logins across all platforms. The windows version unfortunately is light years behind the mac/ios app but this is not a review for that version.

Ive used 1Password for years, on Mac, iPhone and iPad, and its never let me down. Its easy to use, with more features than I really need. I sync via Dropbox which keeps all my devices up to date. I also really enjoy their product update descriptions, funny and always way too long!

I just updated the new version and lost all the content

I had the old 3.7.2 1Password 4 years. It just failed, but within a week they had me up and running with the free new version 6 with all my passwords ported over. Straight forward and easy to use. Thanks Steve C. for all your help.

If I was only to recommend one app to purchase, it would be this one. I cant believe how long I waited to buy this for Mac and iPhone. Yes, it is expensive. However, after having my email account hacked, I realized although I had two very secure passwords, that it wasnt anywhere near enough. Now, I have a ridiculously complex password that I couldnt possibly remember for each of my logins everywhere. It will be very tough to be hacked again. May I suggest that before you do go through the drama of having one of your accounts hacked, or one of your web apps gets hacked and makes your account and password vulnerable, which is what happened to me, that you just make the investment in the one app which should be the first app anyone ever purchases.

Everyone should be using a password manager. 1Password is the very best, in my opinion. Great quality. Great support. Also, bonus points (and this review), for not bothering me to review your software all the time. Love being a customer.

I have had 1Password & Knox for years they are powerful programs that work with precision but cream on the pie is their service it is given with a smile and knowledge. You will never be unhappy you bought their products.

Dont be an idiot. Trust no web site. They will all get hacked. So (1) use 1Password, (2) let it pick your 20+ character passwords, (3) be extra vigilant with your email passwords, (4) use a long sentence as your master password. We have survived Target hacks, Home Depot hacks, Yahoo hacks and more. So, dont be an idiot, use 1Password. Merry Christmas.

Thank you!! UPDATE Sept 17 2014: These guys were blazingly fast out of the starting gate with an update for iOS 8 that takes advantage of some cool new features in the iOS. Good work, guys! Quick, intuitive, and easy to use. Syncs seamlessly across iOS & Mac via Dropbox. Support is speedy, efficient, & friendly.

Ive been using this app for years, and I absolutely love it.

First app I install on any new device.

I had always used BlackBerry which came with an excellent password keeper. I was lost without all my passwords at my fingertips when I changed to iphone, especially when travelling overseas with no access to my safe. I password has become indispensable. I read reviews in Mac magazines and online and this is what was recommended, I totally agree and have told many people to download it because its excellent. Thank you to the producers of this app.
