I cant recommend 1Password enough. Its my go-to when asked what apps I like. It should come pre installed.

With online security more important than ever, and the use of complex and varied passwords a must, this app makes it easy and practical to follow best password security practices. Integration with Touch ID is superb, making the app very fast and convenient to use - important since nobody wants to have to fuss with a slow or poorly designed app every time a password is needed. It integrates well with Safari for passwords and other data like credit card info, making web forms a snap. I use Dropbox to sync my iPhone with my MacBook Pro, iPad, and a Windows computer and it all works seamlessly (iCloud works fine but you need Dropbox for Windows). They release regular updates which constantly refine the app and add new features. I use this app to manage over 200 login/password combinations and it has dramatically improved my digital quality of life. I use it many times per day, either on the phone or on a computer, and I consider this money very well spent.

1/2017 - Things have only gotten worse with my continued use of 1Password. If I try to use it on my iPad Pro in Safari it locks Safari up and I have to quit and start again. I have to enter (copy/paste) login info by hand. I am finally sending diagnostic reports to 1Password in an attempt to see if they can find the problem. NO WAY would I ever select this program again. I am continuing only because I have everything on my Mac version which works just GREAT. It is lousy on iOS!!!!! The problem is that I am increasing my use of my iOS devices!!! Even though I have configured the iOS settings to not lock up after every use, but only after one hour, then I enter just one password, it locks up and I have to enter my password to access my database the next time I go to use it, only a minute or two later. Very time consuming! If it says in the setting that will not need to enter the password for an hour but then forces me to re-enter the program password with each attempt to use it... What a waste of my time that the program will not do what I have designated for it to do via their settings function

After buying the OS app now I have to pay monthly for the iOS app. Seems kind of excessive.

By far the best, most useful app Ive ever downloaded. Touch ID has never failed me, the app will generate new passwords for me if I choose. Only recommendation I have for other 1Password users is to write your master password down and store in a safe place such as safe just in case your Touch ID stops working. Ive used the free version of 1Password for over 2 years and Ive decided to upgrade to the pro version. Thank you for such a great, useful and reliable app!

They dont tell you in the description that the app is only free for thirty days. They simply freeze your app and demand money after that which is misleading and ridiculous. It is most definitely not worth paying for.

Title says it all...

Passwords should be long and random. Humans aren’t good at remembering long and random strings of characters. You know what is good at remembering long and random strings of characters? Computers. Let your computer remember your passwords. This app is the most convenient way I’ve found to do that.

All my passwords are lost! Hack able? Dont know....hope this can be solved....

I really cant believe that this app is for free. All of the features that you get are top notch. Its so convenient how they have everything set up from the username and password. They really have thought of mostly everything you need for password protection. Great job guys! Keep up the awesomeness!

Thanks team for creating the great app. I use 1Password almost everyday. Easy to use. Easy to access passwords everywhere with the sync password feature. I love the app. However I expect some other features such as: store secure photos/ videos/ voice recordings (included or not included with the feature secure notes)

Feb 4, 2017 Ive added a date to this review because Ive run out of great things to say. Each version gets better and better. I cant think of a fault except maybe a manual backup option. I use the "family" plan and they do their own backups but I would like a manual option. The company disclosed how they back up the data and its a great system in place. 1Password is more than a password manager, its a security device. These days humans cant be trusted to make a secure password. This app allows you to generate secure passwords. You can also store important documents, credit cards, etc. Your password never gets transmitted to the developer even if you use their family or teams applications. Bottom line these days I cant tell you any of my passwords but I only need to know 1. My master password. Hence the name 1Password. Updated Dec 19,2016 The latest update needs a new review yet I cant find a fault with the app so just read what I wrote before and hundreds of others have written. The app gets better with each release.

Id love it if there was some kind of username generator. Right now I have a workaround in which I generate a password with words and hyphens, but Id like to see a dedicated username generator feature. Maybe something similar to the NSA program generator? POTATOWRENCH, JEEPBERSERK, etc.

I wouldnt be able to live without 1Password. It saves immense time to not have to look up passwords somewhere else, and it keeps me secure.

Awesome app with encrypted server that lets you store passwords on app which is just awesome. I heard about while on the Mac App Store but its free on iOS. On Mac, its $64.00, but an app like this is worth the cost.

I have used 1Password for probably 5 years by now. Over that span Ive ended up with maybe 4 new devices. I turn on a new device for the first time ever and like clockwork I head to download 1Password first. Before anything else, I must have this app on my tablet, phone, etc. I genuinely cant fully express how helpful this app is. I have over 250 items in the app and the rule of thumb is "if Im considering whether or not I should add it--I add it." That rule and sticking to it has saved my skin on more than 1 occasion. The support team was great the one time I needed them. But thats the other thing worth noting.. Ive needed them once. In 5 years. It just works. Its helpful. Its fast. Its safe. And it just flipping works.
