1Password - Password Manager and Secure Wallet App Reviews

Upgraded to latest version 6.5.3 and once again, AgileBits has broken the WLAN Sync for Macbooks, iPhones and iPads. This is really getting old. We like the features of 1Password, but every few months, they introduce Bugs that impact EVERYONE at our Company. You got to wonder who is in charge of testing or if they even do any testing. We are a software company ourselves, so this is a serious sign of management failure. Hope Version 6.5.4 comes out soon...

I used the one touch feature to log into this app. I loved it at first, but then the iOS updated and I needed to log in manually. Of course, since I never had to use it, I dont recall my master password and there is no way to retrieve it or reset it. The website says to delete the app and start over. Great! Now all of the passwords I had in the app are also gone. I understand security, but this is ridiculous. I spent hours getting all of my passwords into this app and now I have nothing. I guess bottom line is make sure you have your master password written down somewhere, which is crazy to me. That doesnt seem secure at all.

The only thing I would change is to have the password generator make passwords that are compatible with most websites lame duck rules. Like the word based ones separated by dashes, but allow me to keep it under 16 characters. Right now you can only choose how many words in your new password, but not total length. But this is the best app I have. 10/10. Perfect 5/7. Four thumb up. Would recommend to friends and fiends.

Ive used this app for years. Its such a help in managing all of my accounts. The only problem I have had is that I have to tap passwords twice to reveal it when "Speak Screen" is toggled on in the Settings->General->Accessibility->Speech area. It can be annoying to have to double tap the concealed password field to bring up the option to copy or reveal it. The options appear for just a second and disappears. This only happens after I open the after being completely closed and it wasnt until I took the time to troubleshoot it that I found this issue was only present with Speak Screen turned on. Not sure if this is an iOS problem or a bug with 1Password but thought it was time to mention it. Ive had Speak Screen turned off ever sense I found this an hope to be able to leave it turned on again if this could be fixed. Keep up the good work ?

Love this app

I have been using 1Password for about 2 years or so.. I have been content with the free version. However NOW suddenly my account is "frozen" and I cannot make changes or add anything to it unless I PAY! What is this bs? I get that apps like this need to generate money - but why now do I have to pay? I only use this app because they had a free version! Smh... Ill delete.

Ive been using this program since version three on the Mac. Nothing beats it.

I have contacted agilebits multiple times via email and 0 support. After this update I cant even log in anymore I tried to unlock with my master password multiple times to find out the 14th character I type would freeze the app then crash and havent gotten any response from the developers in almost a week. I hope they here me now.

This is the best thing I have ever done. Have been using for over a year and I love it. It is such a big help. I have short term memory problems and this is a life saver for me. Keep up the good work. That said; I would like to see space for an added field to include email address.

5 stars from paid reviewers maybe, but delve deeper and its 1-2 stars everytime 1). The update from previous versions is completely unstable. I gave up trying 2). Subscription model? Seriously? Ill use the note pad feature on dang phone.

I was off the grid. I use 1Password old school (no subscription). I use DropBox to sync. Dear Agilebits QA: please add a test case where the user is off the grid (no wifi. No Cell Data). I am constantly nagged to relogin to DropBox and unable to use the app since I dont want to bother to sync with Dropbox (since I choose not to at the moment).

This app is great, however at one month there is a charge or the account is frozen. That is not at all clear from the app description or in the App Store.

I recommend this to any and all who have an array of accounts each with differing passwords of variable complexity. It also has sections to store things like Social Security numbers, Insurance details etc. Honestly, I couldnt do without 1Password - its worth every penny.

I have loved this app for years. Now you are telling me it is going to a subscription? Only a matter of time before they force all customers to this model. I dont need recurring subscription fees! I will bail for sure and I am no longer recommending this app. Sorry.

You cant put a value on peace of mind, which is exactly what you get with this app. Been a user for years and I can rest easy knowing I have unique, complex, passwords in every corner of the internet. I love that the team behind this app is constantly making improvements and listening to their users. Cant imagine a world without this app.

Seriously... as a Federal employee, I am required to create and retain many (frankly, too many!) passwords. More than once, 1Password has been the one thing I could (safely) rely on to help me to locate & use whatever software I might have to use. Thanks AngelBits! Youve created a super app... Keep up the good work! ƑʝՅ

A lot of the webpages that used to load with the last version no longer load with this update. I find I have to use safari instead to do my work, and that slows down my workflow.

Ive used other password management apps and nothing is as good as 1Password

When will we be able to create categories? Please guys, that is the only thing lacking. Find a way!!!
