1Password - Password Manager and Secure Wallet App Reviews

Great performance

Ive used the App for over 4 years. No surprises in its performance and it synchronizes beautifully with my 2 other devices. When I had a hard drive crash on one device and recovered on the new drive 1Password synchronized perfectly picking up any changes. When it comes to the cost of a password App, I measure performance and cost of an App as an economic cost to what the value of the damage that can can happen. I manage over 200 passwords. Four Router passwords, software licenses, multiple passport data, bank accounts, key family information, etc. On my one device my most active Apps are mail, texting then 1 Password. I have total confidence in 1Password in providing me 1 key aspect of performance and protection.

Horrible at changing passwords

I have had to change passwords multiple times for every account that I have added to 1Password because somehow it manages to capture the wrong thing when you reset passwords. Seems like it was designed only for pp who are creating new accounts with it. It has been very frustrating.

Highly recommended in those days with passwords prolification

You have to have multiple passwords or even better one password for every place. You ought to use a password manager to hit that goal. There is currently no other way around it.

Awesome app

Little expensive but one of the best best apps I have ever used

App keeps crashing

The older version kept crashing. I copied the detailed instructions to upgrade to the newest version which now costs approximately $5 a month. The new version keeps crashing too! It holds all my passwords but its kind of a pain have to keep logging back into it after it keeps crashing after 5 - 6 seconds of being open. If I wasnt already committed, I would go elsewhere.

The Only Proper Course of Action

Start here. Be organized, and aware of the threats to your systems. This program will not let you down.

Great app, one suggestion

I love this app and use it almost daily. Id like to suggest that if the ability to scan things like credit cards, drivers licenses, etc., was added, it would make it even better. This would greatly simplified the addition of inputting this type of information a lot easier.

Amazing.

Ive been using 1Password for years and its fantastic. I love Agile Bits for making 1Password free; I know they really care about all their customers. I happily pay for a Family account and its worth at least double what I pay for it.

Good app but still no print!

A great app but it lacks the ability to export files and secure entries in the event of technology failure. Not that that ever occurs! It has been said, "to protect my data" there is no print. I believe that is up to me, not them to decide. Its my data, not theirs. They are very pig headed about not allowing me to use MY information. I can secure the printed data or files just fine in a bank safe. A lot of users have asked for this but still no option to print. Otherwise, its a good app. Because they have failed to add this feature after many requests and over a year I am starting to look for a replacement application and dropping my rating. Other applications are getting better reviews because they offer this option.

Best!

Wow, what a great app! Highly recommended.

Thanks

One of the best apps.

No Customer Support

I loved this app until I bought a new iPhone. I cant use the app on my iPhone, although it still works on my Mac and iPad. Apparently, I need my account number to activate 1Password on my iPhone, but Agilebits will not tell me what it is. So the app for which I paid is unusable. I have tried to get Support to help, but they refuse. No phone number, no Chat option, only a canned robo-answer which doesnt address my problem.

Amazing app/program

Update: 1Password stopped working the other day after I added a Dropbox vault and payed for the "pro" in app purchase. Now I cant access my local or Dropbox vault. Fix this Love using this app, I did a lot of research before picking this app. I mainly picked it due to the technology and the fact that I can buy the application. I personally am not a fan of of subscriptions so that is what drove me to use 1 password. I only wish that the sync would work with Google drive. Please keep the standard purchase option in the future as some customers prefer this model. PS I used a free version before called password safe and it did the job it just didnt work between oss. This app is well polished and would recommend it ever time. Experience: IT Professional

Ever since update I cant open it!!

Ever since the update I have been unable to open this app. I type in my password & when I enter the last item in the pw it just holds the letter & wont go any further?Any suggestions? All my pws are unaccessible to me now...

Worth Every Penny

For $3/mo I have peace of mind, a streamlined sign in process with no more more trial and error, and it syncs across all my devices. Fantastic support, fantastic app, and a necessity in the modern world.

This updated app is as bad as an app can be

Encouraged to upgrade because the earlier version (which worked), I downloaded this waste of code. The parts that work: the signup for a new account, an in-app purchase that subscribes me to a service at $48 per year. The part that doesnt work: the import from the previous version, which crashes the new app every time. I am sure there are good password-management tools for iPhone. This is not one.

Excellent

Highly recommend. Easy to use and very secure.

Ridiculously Priced

Im an average early-30s computer/iPhone user. Ive got a dozen-ish accounts that require passwords. I pretty much use one credit card, and I reach for it maybe once a week. Id love a form filler that consistently worked across platforms. But three bucks a month for these services? When Apple already offers free built-in software that, whatever its flaws, is still better than nothing? And when 1Passwords competition has decent free versions out there? Yeah, no. On top of all the typical monthly costs adults deal with, Im already paying for several TV/movie, podcast, and news/magazine subscriptions as well as a VPN and a networking app. Ive also set up automatic monthly donations to a handful of charities. Another $3 per month? $36 per year? To streamline a process thats not exactly time consuming to begin with? And when I havent had any security issues so far? Definitely not. Maybe a one-time charge or a much smaller annual rate. But IMO $3/month is laughable for what it does.

Latest version crashes unlocking keychain..

Worked fine for years, latest version crashes on capitalized 14th character of a 16 character password. I cannot unlock my 1pass keychain now.
